A 12th-ound draft pick of the Denver Broncos in 1983 from Augustana University in Sioux City, South Dakota. Played literally every front seven position on Denver’s 3-4 defense during the 80s. He is credited with over 1000 tackles and 79 sacks during his 12-year NFL career. Selected to 3 All Pro Teams and 6 Pro Bowls he is considered to be one of the Broncos best all-time linebackers in team history.

Allen rushed for over 12,200 yards and 123 touchdowns in his 16-year career while Mecklenburg accounted for over 1100 tackles in his 12-year career.
