One of two Patriots voted to the NFL’s 75th Anniversary Team. Named to the Patriots 35th Anniversary Team in 1994. Named the Player of the Century on the Patriots Team of the Century in 2000. Played in 183 games while missing only five games due to injury. Selected to nine Pro Bowls (1976 & 1978-85). Named All-Pro for 10 consecutive years (1976-85). Won the NFL Players Association’s Offensive Lineman of the Year Award for four straight seasons (1978-81). Powered an offensive line that helped set an NFL record with 3,165 rushing yards in 1978 - a record that stood for 41 years. Named to the Patriots All-Time Team in 2009.
