  A 3rd round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills in 1973, Arkansas quarterback Joe Ferguson played a total of 17 seasons in the NFL. And while he was never considered one of professional football’s elite passers he was a consistent and solid starter of the Bills for 10 seasons. He led the league (along with the Vikings Fran Tarkington) in touchdown passes in 1975 with 25 and was first in the league in passing yardage in 1977 with 2803.
