He was later traded to Detroit and played 6 seasons there earning 5 Pro Bowl appearances and 4 All Pro selections. When he retired from Pro Football in 1955 he was the NFL's #3 All-Time Leading scorer with 534 points. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1986.
