One of the reasons for the Miami Dolphins success of the 1970s was Hall of Fame Offensive Guard Larry Little. He was part of an offensive line that set a new NFL record of 2960 rushing yards during that undefeated season of 1972.
A graduate of Bethune-Cookman college, he was originally a free agent signing with San Diego before being traded to Miami in 1969, where he made AFL All Star that year. Played a total of 12 seasons with the Dolphins earning 5 Pro Bowls and being named to 5 All-Pro teams. Was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1993.
