An unsung hero of the Dallas Cowboys for 13 seasons Larry Cole was drafted in the 16th round out of the University of Hawaii in 1968 he played in 26 NFL Post Season games (an NFL record when he retired in 1980) including 5 Super Bowls. A versatile player he played each position along the defensive line at one time or another. Credited unofficially with 60 sacks in his career. Also scored 4 defensive touchdowns – all against the Washington Redskins.

The 4th quarter score put the game out of reach of the Cowboys as Pittsburgh went on to win their second straight Super Bowl.
