Topps 1978 NFL Card #502 - Baltimore Colts Team Leaders & Checklist
 Topps NFL Card #502 featuring the 1977 Team Leaders of the Baltimore Colts. Capturing the AFC East Division title with a 10-4 record. Unfortunately they were eliminated by the Oakland Raiders in overtime during the AFC Divisional playoffs by the score of 37-31.
 Lydell Mitchell, with 1159 yards rushing, 620 receiving yards and 71 catches was the Colts leader in running and catching the ball. He was also named to his third consecutive Pro Bowl that year.
 Colts Quarterback Bert Jones – while not pictured – had good year finishing with the NFL’s most completions (224) and was second among passers with 2686 passing yards.
 On the Defensive side of the ball safety Lyle Blackwood led not only the Colts in interceptions but his 10 picks were the best in the league as well. Defensive end Fred Cook was credited with 9 sacks.
 Along with Mitchell the Colts had a total of 5 1st-Team Pro Bowlers. Offensive lineman George Kunz, defensive lineman John Dutton & Mike Barnes and kicker Toni Linhart all represented the AFC in 1977.
