Art Shell Football Cards Entering 1979 Art Shell was in his 11th season and had a string of 7 straight Pro Bowl appearances going back to 1972 broken by a preseason injury. He did return to start the final 11 games of the year. After leading the Raiders to a 12-4 mark, an AFC West Division title and a trip to the AFC Championship he was named the 1990 NFL Coach of the Year.
