One of the unsung heroes of Dallas Cowboy History, Mark Tuinei played 15 seasons and 195 games protecting Hall of Fame Quarterback Troy Aikmen and opening holes for the NFL’s All Time Leading Rusher Emmitt Smith.

Originally a defensive lineman he was an un-drafted free agent with Dallas in 1983. In 1986 he was moved to the offensive line and filled in at all 3 positions as well as playing the defensive line at times. By the middle of the season he was named the starting offensive left tackle, a spot he held for the remainder of his career.
Despite nagging injuries following him throughout his career he played in a total of 195 games in a 15-year career. A 2-time Pro Bowler and 3-time Super Bowl winner many consider him one of the most under-rated offensive lineman to ever play for the Cowboys.
